You’ll tuck away—in the hidden nooks and crannies of a notebook you’ve sewn yourself—your own personal emotions, and it will be unlike any other.

I’ll share my creative secrets with you and guide you through the entire process:

What story do you want to tell...
A portrait of a loved one or a fictional character,or perhaps a piece of a fairy tale...
How to choose fabrics and colors...
Adding hidden compartments, small pockets, and things that unfold...
What charms to slip inside, and how...
What sewing or embroidery stitches to use...
Transferring images or photos onto fabric, incorporating them...
Painting a portrait to sew inside...
Building the notebook in a consistant and unique way...

Isabelle recommends bringing small objects, photos, images, and charms that are
close to your heart—the ones you’d like to include in your notebook—so that it truly
expresses something about you.
However, I’ll also provide fabrics, small objects, images, and fabric paint, because the more choices we have, the more inspiration flows.
And if, like Isabelle, you love to create and sew, we’re going to have fun together.
